My career took me from to Graphic Design to Political Economics and then onto Academia, for almost 30 years, as a Senior Organisational Behaviourist, Research Methodologist, and Strategic HR, Management and Leadership expert.
I live in Devonshire ward, and ran for a Council seat in May 2023.
I have worked in Business Faculties/Schools in London, NYC, Stockholm, Jersey, Madrid and Paris as a Senior Lecturer responsible for working with International practicing Executives at Masters level and beyond. I led and delivered various teams, developed, and designed original curriculum materials for several Masters programmes and beyond, many of them International in nature. My professional skills were also used to help the CMI and CIPD develop their professional standards for qualified practitioners.
I'm fond of wide reaching analysis, detail, good communication and developing compassionate strategic practice with senior professional executives from a very wide range of organisational types. I'm also very interested in the Psychology of Organisational Decision Making. As a behaviourist my particular specialism lay in compassionate troubleshooting, enabling change, enabling and empowering people at work and, organisational and professional executive identity management services. I have worked with a large swathe of well known Organisations, in various Industries, across the years, on many varied topics and projects in great detail.
One of my life time interests and fascinations has always been UK Politics, at both a National and local level. Politics excites me. It impacts us All. Politics was everywhere within my family when I was growing up in the 1970s. Thus, I believe it's so important to be engaged.
I make every effort to make the best use of my skills sets within the role of an Officer of the Association. My background has proven to be very useful in enabling me to make some positive contributions to help us meet, and achieve the need, to better interact with and welcome our new members and volunteers.
I'm very proud of the amount of 'back room' work we all achieve within the Association. I really appreciate the warm team spirit that is in place here in Eastbourne. It is a great honour to serve the Party, and to be a member of such a wonderful Team of people.
