Sovereign Harbour centre

Sovereign Harbour comprises the development of the beach-land to the east of Eastbourne's town centre.

Opened in 1993, it was previously known as The Crumbles. The marina consists of five separate harbours (North, South, West, Outer, and Inner Harbour). There is also a thriving retail park and delightful open spaces. 

Sovereign ward residents are represented at County Hall by Conservative Penny di Cara, and by Conservative Borough councillors Kshama Shore OBE, Nigel Goodyear and Penny di Cara. They are all working hard to improve life for residents and visitors. They hold monthly surgeries to deal with local issues and their contact details are below.

I have lived here in Eastbourne for 39 years, the last 20 in Sovereign Harbour.  I have three grown up children, all of whom were educated in Eastbourne, and five grandchildren.  I am married to Paul, a Chartered Accountant. We both worked for AXA PPP  in project management positions

Kshama Shore migrated, with her parents, to the UK from Tanzania as a 19-year-old before a 40-year career with Customs and Excise (latterly HM Revenue & Customs) ended with recent retirement.
